Robert (Bobby) Rudolph Custer, 48, of Christiansburg, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Rudolph Custer. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Debrha Kay Custer; son, Robert "Bobby" William Custer; daughter Ashley Custer and her boyfriend, Zac Cole: grandson, Conner Jay Custer and his mom, Jessica Riddle, and her children Tanner and Baila; mother, Mary Heath and her husband Jim; mother-in-law, Geraldine Hutchison and husband, Elwood; brothers, Jay and Tommy Custer; brother-in-law, David; sisters-in-law, Pam, Donna, and Crystal, and numerous nieces and nephews. You will always be Loved and Missed. "Gone but not forgotten." The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Horne Funeral Home, with the Rev. Buford D. Linkous officiating.
