Nancy Jeanette Brown Wade, age 80 of Hiwassee passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem. Born October 29, 1932 in Ivanhoe, she was the daughter of the late Emory Clarence Brown and Willie Shipwash Brown. Her husband, Nathan Wade; son, Nathan Wade, Jr., granddaughter, Teresa Wade and brother, Emory “Billy” Clarence Brown also preceded her in death. Surviving Daughters & Sons-in-law Nancy C. & Herman R. Boyd-Hiwassee Sylvia A. & Calvin L. Harkrader –Parrott Sandra E. & Michael R. Cooper-Hiwassee Sons & Daughters -in-law John A. & Sandra Wade-Dublin Clarence O. & Shirley Wade-Indian Valley Thomas A. Wade & fiancée, Carolyn Lane-Hiwassee 13 Grandchildren & Special Grandson whom she raised - David A. Wade-Draper 17 Great Grandchildren Brother Carl Leonard Brown & wife, Polly- Roanoke Sister Joann Worrell & husband, Don-California Sister-in-law - Virgie Kingrea & husband, Bob-Dublin Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM - Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Max Creek Baptist Church (Draper) with Pastor Mike Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Church.
